The Aerial Movement® is a new systematic training approach for aerial acrobats and aerial calisthenics enthusiasts, both professional and amateur, focused on the progression, development and execution of dynamic, explosive and slow motion movements in aerial acrobatics and aerial calisthenics.
Created by Gabriel Tramullas in 2014 and formalized in 2017 as a registered trademark of aerial acrobatics and aerial calisthenics, The Aerial Movement® was born after many years of teaching, noticing the need and importance of a progressive learning process based on biomechanics, programmed training, technique, conditioning, and preparatory exercises for the development and execution of dynamic, explosive and slow motion movements in aerial disciplines.
Considering that a deep understanding of the basic components of each movement increases our body vocabulary and potential, favouring the execution of subsequent movements and expanding our physical and artistic possibilities in an optimal, precise and safe training methods; The Aerial Movement® aims to help circus artists, aerial acrobats and calisthenics enthusiasts understand the importance of focusing not on the final trick but on the evolution of the physical process involved.
Consequently, The Aerial Movement® has created an educational system for both Online and Face-to-face format offering a Certified Masterclass (Level I & 2), an International Teacher Training Certification T.A.M.® for Aerial Acrobatics and Aerial Calisthenics (Level I & 2), as well as workshops, online training, and specific movements among others. All of this with an exclusive online campus and a unique teaching in the world.
In addition, The Aerial Movement® offers the reader the first aerial acrobatics and aerial calisthenics book: “Aerial Acrobatics & Calisthenics Vol.1”, both paperback and eBook format. Gabriel was born on 1976 in Houilles, France. Later on, the whole family moved to Jaca, a village in northern Spain where he started practicing figure skating. At the age of 14, he decided to try free climbing inspired by the surrounding mountains. He dedicated his life to this sport for more than 15 years, setting routes of 8B+/C (5.13D/5.14A) and competing at regional, national, and international level, winning several prizes along the way. In 2005, he became a Professional Firefighter. Later on, he also became a Certified Street Workout and Calisthenics Trainer.
After watching a contemporary circus show in 2006, Gabriel felt compelled to explore his artistic and creative side within the world of aerial acrobatics. He started practicing aerial silks but quickly moved on to ropes and straps.
